All the officers of the Rabbits Section are unpaid volunteers (or are press ganged).  The first rung on the ladder
is to be elected  as Treasurer.   Provided they are not making too many   errors, the next  rung in the following
year is to become Secretary .  This is the "hard work" year.  If they  have not become too discouraged   by the
end of that year they are elected  Captain of Rabbits which is their final reward and honour
